BRONX, NY – Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman today announced the indictments against 20 alleged members and associates of a Troy-based gang on charges they operated a high-volume drug trafficking ring. During the year-long investigation, investigators seized more than 1,000 grams of cocaine with an approximate street value of $100,000 and more than 100 bags of heroin and more than an ounce of raw heroin with an approximate street value of $14,000, according to the 249 counts in the felony indictments unsealed today in Rensselaer Supreme Court.
"YS" Known as Young Shooterz are one of the 3 gangs to come out of the Bronx as apart of a trio, featuring the Young Gunnerz, Young Bosses and now the Young Shooterz. YS Features multiple subsets spread across Bronx and Brooklyn, such as E4T [Known as Everything for Trey, Trey Block Shooterz ], 5 Staccs/ GTB [ Get To Breesh, Mainly focuses on 53rd and only features children, this is known as one of the less dangerous sets] and one of the lesser known sets such as Bin City [Seems to be inactive or underground.
E4T, Originally named Boyd Shooterz is a subset of the Young Shooters located within the Bronx region of New York. E4T Originated in early 2008 but became a wide spread name under BSz during the 2010 and 11 time periods. the faction featured multiple younger members around the ages over 13-18, since that's what YS factions are usually made of, groups of children using each other as one central group under a stronger name. The faction referred to BSz until most of there original members where locked and arrested.
The faction was Renamed E4T after a associate named Trey was gunned down by a local group of NYPD officers during a bunker raid, this situation is heavily regarded as a abuse of power but no solid evidence has came out of it and the only living witness was claimed to have been killed by trey, a 16 year old African American male who at the time conveniently had a firearm on his body, however multiple sources believe the firearm was planted there to cover up the murder of a innocent child by the ESU.
Current day E4T Is smaller insize, no longer 10 or 20 deep as they used to be on there blocks. The faction now features ex Crips and Folks who flipped Shooterz, which is unusually to see within this region for it's usually the other way around. This is currently the second most active YSz set but is feared as the most dangerous as multiple different murders have occurred within there areas. The known leader is rumored to be around 16-18, explaining there style of murders.
5 Staccs/GTB is a YS Subset mainly made of children in the local school known as East Bronx High School. The factions start is unknown but it's a group that's been going on within the area for a while, fully spreading into the school surrounding it within recent times. This group started as a way for the local children to stay protected inside of school and to stay with a solid income of cash. the groups main focus is bringing in cash to each other and the supply of basic weapons inside the school, such as knives for threatening people and other contrabanded items.
The first known instance of a 5 Stacc member was seen about a year ago, no other known region of this faction is anywhere around the block, it's considered the most inactive YSz subset during the summer but during the school year It seems to always be an active source of fights and clique banging. Members of 5 Staccs usually wear beads to avoid the detection of the schools officials. This allows them to represent 5staccs while following dress code
Most members of GTB Are usually seen participating in scamming, credit card fraud or drug deals, as this is how the children supply there selves with cash. Unlike a usual gang GTB isn't hard to join, it's more a easier way to become a YSz without having to put in the pain like other sets such as E4T and Bin City.
