The Prophets are a street organisation, founded by Leo Desangelo during the early crack wars of New York, 1960's. Leo Desangelo was merely 16 years old, whilst living in the streets, endured by violence and poverty. The violence was mainly driven by guns and drugs, mainly crack cocaine. When crack had hit the streets of The Bronx, it could be found on nearly ever corner of the block, mainly the only aspect of making a living throughout the projects. Leo's father, Mart Desangelo was a major drug dealer who ran up to 5 blocks whilst also being the current gang leader of the hood called 16 Disciples. Mart soon died during a gang drive by. The individuals who had killed him were known as the hood's opposing organisation called Undergrounds, a bikey gang, who were the prime main providers of crack cocaine. It was said that Mart lately had purchased the product yet had refused to pay the full price which resulted in a fight where Mart had killed one of their leaders. After his death, the next highest member, Angelo Recartman had taken control of the gang. Leo, being the leader's previous son had been granted oppurtunity to join the set. He then made his way into the cycle of drugs, guns and harm. He soon had his own crew, specifically 3 other individuals called Ricardo, DeShawn and Joseph.
The boys had purchased a trap house, where they could have a main source of spot to use to supply their drugs. By the time Leo had hit the age of 18, he had two gunshot wounds, one to his leg and one to his lower abdomen and had been arrested once within a minor charge. Yet another incident had occured that would soon change Leo's life. So this is what happened -
Leo and his crew had approached a house that they regularly supply to. They entered the house through the back as always, and made their way into the living room. There, his clients were sitting on the sofa, smoking weed. Leo greeted the men and proceeded to take out the product out the backpack and place it onto the desk infront of him. One of the clients had unpocketed the amount of cash and placed it onto the table and proceeded to take the product. Ricardo began counting the cash and flipping through it, when he came across a dye pack. Him knowing that this cash was laced and trackable, he placed the dye pack onto the table, slinged his gun forward and demanded an explanation. The boys all caught eye of it and Leo then removed the dye pack and placed the cash inside his backpack along with the product, while his other crew memebers had just unloaded their clips in the clients. They stormed out of the house but during the timing got glimpse of a police cruiser who they knew just heard the nearby gunshots. The crew hopped in the vehicle and began driving down the M8 where they came across a block off. Having no choice, the crew surrendered and was soon prosecuted and convicted of having murdered two confidential informants. Leo was sentenced to life behind bars, while his other crew members got off with life with parole, as Leo had testified how he was the one who pulled the trigger, letting his friends get off.
During prison visiting times, Leo had told his fellow 16 Disciple gang members that his Arch Disciple take over the gang, whilst renaming it to Prophet$. The gang's new leader was called Maurice. Maurice soon provoked the Undergrounds, which resulted in a major dispute which killed a bunch of Maurice's members. Prophet$ were soon pushed out, and left to the west side of The Bronx. There, they began posting up on a street called Broadway Ave. Now, Prophet$ can be regularly seen hanging around Broadway.

Prophet colours can be recognised by the main yellow color, yet can also be presented using black or green outfits.

Prophets will be regularly found hanging around Broadway avenue, but more over near the barber shop located on the right hand side of Broadway, called Broadway Kutz.

You musn't ask to join out of character. You will need to meet us in game and roleplay with us.The discord invitation will be primarily only given out to certified members, yet if an individual is classified as a 'hangaround' then you will need to be initiated throughout a series of provement, where you will need to roleplay with us ingame where you will be required to endure a 'beat'. You will also be required to proceed with a 'hit' on a specific individual chosen by your recruiter. Recruiters can only be Sub Prophets +, yet you will need to roleplay with me.
