Juwuan Carter is an teenager that appears to be around the age of fourteen to sixteen years old, Juwuan Carter is a little under average height for an normal male. Juwuan's close friends and family usually call him "Quan" because it's short for his name, people like his mother and grandma call him "JuJu," which he hates because it makes him sound like a bitch. Juwuan current lives with his mother and grandmother in the Boyd Apartment Complex, this area is known for having a lot of gang violence.
Juwuan Carter is born July 31st, 2003 approximately at 3:52 A.M at the "Calvary Hospital," a hospital located in Bronx, New York. Juwuan was born 5 pounds and 8 ounces, which is average for a newborn baby. Shortly after Juwuan's birth his mother Tianna Carter had her mother Diana Carter take them back to her apartment located in the Boyd Apartment Complex. Juwuan's birth had put a lot of pressure on his mother because she didn't know how she was going to raise a child at the age of 17, Tianna's mother had helped out sometimes when Tianna couldn't purchase formula for Juwuan, Tianna felt bad in everyway but she had to take the money because she really needed it to provide for Juwuan. Juwuan's father had left his mother on the second week of her pregnancy which put her in a depressed state of mind.
Fast forward a few years and Juwuan had turned five years old, Juwuan was excited due to the fact he knew he would receive presents from his family, the only downfall to this is that Juwuan's mather had to work all day to provide for him, which Juwuan didn't understand due to him being so young at the time. It's almost six o' clock which means it's time to eat the birthday cake, so Juwuan's uncle, Jamal Carter had went outside to grab his "BIC" lighter. A few moments go by and six shots can be heard from outside, this made everyone in the house get on the ground except for Juwuan's uncle, Zahmir. Juwuan had seen his uncle withdraw a Glock 17 with an extended magazine, this had Juwuan shocked because it's the first time he had seen an actual firearm. Juwuan had never thought in his life he would see one until he was older because his mother told him to stay away from them. Zahmir had rushed outside and didn't come back which had us worried. My mother had rushed outside to find that her brother, Jamal, on the floor gasping for air with blood quickly coming out of his throat. Shortly after Jamal was transported to the hospital he was pronounced dead on arrival. This had impacted Juwuan's life at a very young age because he had seen a gun for his first time and had watched someone he loved die right in front of his eyes. Once Juwuan had turned 12 he had asked his Uncle, Zahmir, why Jamal had got shot and he explained to him it was due to gang violence. Later on he had found out that his uncle Jamal and Zahmir had been banging a blood set called "59 Brim Apes." Juwuan wasn't shocked when he found out because he could find his uncles throwing up blood gang signs and also wearing red bandanas most of the time.
It's now Octobor 31st, 2017 and Juwuan is currently still living in Bronx. Around this time Juwuan had been banging a local blood set called "59 Brim Apes," the same as his uncles, he had been blessed in by his uncle which is now his OG, Zahmir. Juwuan had planned to go out with a few friends to cause mischief because they've out grown trick or treating. Juwuan's mother refused for Juwuan to go out unless he took his little brother Kevell, Juwuan had agreed to his mother's wishes and proceeded to link up with his friends around 6:30. Juwuan and his two friends, Chuck and Kendrin had all agreed on asking a few females to come out with them. Ten minutes go by and Diamond and Sahsha had arrived to the designated location they all had agreed on. The clique of teens began to walk the neighborhood which had been territory for the 59 Brim Apes, so Juwuan wasn't worried about being jumped or anything. Juwuan had seen a few of his big homies and dapped a few of them up, Juwuan then see's his uncle with a few other members of the 59 Brim Apes, Juwuan had approached them and did what any other Brim would do and greet his OG by stacking it up. Juwuan's uncle had been impressed so he had told Juwuan he has a surprise for him, Juwuan was excited because he didn't know what it could be so he told his friends to watch his little brother while he goes to the back with his Uncle. Juwuan's uncle had opened a "Glock Box" which held the same firearm that he took out on Juwuan's fifth birthday, this was a suprise to Juwuan because he didn't know what was going to happen next. Juwuan's uncle had took the firearm out of the box and held it out to Juwuan waiting for him to grab it, Juwuan had grabbed the firearm and inspected it, his next move was asking his uncle "Why he's giving him a firearm?" His uncle responded saying "That's for protection, you're going to need it if you're going to claim Brim. Also I don't want you to end up like Jamal, your mother would kill me." Zahmir had let out a chuckle which had left Juwuan uneasy. Juwuan proceeded to tuck the firearm in his waistband and made his way back to the front with his friends. Shortly after Juwuan had went home he quickly hid the firearm in a old shoe box.
Two weeks later, November 7th. It's nine o' clock at night and Juwuan is sitting in his room listening to music. Juwuan's brand new iPhone 6s starts to ring and Juwuan glances at the contact and it reads "Uncle Zahmir," Juwuan answered the phone quickly and said "Wassup?" His uncle replied "Grab the present I gave you and come to the block." After his uncle finished his sentence he had quickly hung up and proceeded to do what he was told, Juwuan grabs his firearm and his red flag and ties it on his forehead, he also grabs a black hoodie to hide the firearm. Juwuan makes his way to the block and he uncle tells him that they're going to do a driveby on a rival gang's block, Juwuan had been shocked because he didn't know if he was ready to take someone's life, but Juwuan had followed his uncles orders because he knew he had to. Juwuan, his uncle, and two other Brims had quickly ran into a four door crown vic and proceeded to make their way down to the rival gangs block, all of the men in the car were armed, all the men had checked their firearms for ammo and had cocked them back ready to fire. It's now 9:52 and Juwuan's uncle proceeds to slow down and spots a few rival gang members sitting outside a local apartment complex known for selling crack and being a rival gang. Zahmir proceeds to turn of his headlights and roll down all the windows, then Zahmir slowly creeps up the block until they reach in front of the complex. Once they reach the front all you can hear is multiple shots being let out from Juwuan and the others, shortly after all the shots Zahmir speeds off and later on they arrive back to the block. Juwuan had tried his hardest to hold in tears because he couldn't handle knowing the fact he could have killed someone that night, Juwuan then rushes to his home sobbing not knowing what to do. Once Juwuan enters the home his mother see's him and quickly stops him in his tracks, Juwuan's mother could have already known what happened so she asks "Where is it?" Juwuan proceeds to lift up his hoodie and withdraws the firearm from his waistband and hands it to his mother, his mother quickly places it on the counter and holds her son in her arms.
What is Juwuan up to now of days?
Juwuan currently lives with his mother in apartment A1 located in Boyd Apartment Complex, Juwuan currently doens't have an legal occupation but he sells small amounts of marijuana to the community. Juwuan can be seen with his close friends Kendrin "Tooka" Demons and Elias Miller daily. Juwuan is known in his community for toting various of weapons daily due to the life style he lives and the people he hangs with. Juwuan Carter had lost two close friends within the year, Dre and Trey. Dre's live was ended shortly at the age of 16 by a dispute that happened at the Matrixx, his killer is still at large. Trey's life was taken by the New York Police Department after they raided a bunker that was believed to have over 10 weapons held inside, Trey had sent some shots at the officer's to restrict them from entering the bunker but that didn't work because they still entered and took the young man's life. Juwuan had started a movement called "Dre and Trey World" which is a movement for both of his friends life that had lost their lives.
