Black Spade Lords was created in 1975 as a African American movement project, it was put in the Bronx of New York and it would eventually grow out to touch the east coast of Illinois. The movement was ran by a African American male that goes by the hand Marcus Davonte. The movement would progress towards 1980 where police brutality aimed at African Americans would really skyrocket which caused the movement to turn into little gangs to protect African Americans and other ethnicities being beat by police. The main squad is placed by 63rd & Fremont which is right next to Northwood Collegiate Institute. A lot of the youth would look up to the gang members because of the protection they’re offered, this would cause the kids to join the faction which also caused the gang to be introduced to selling illegal drugs. Davonte liked this idea a lot and decided to continue and use this movement/gang as a reason to sell drugs and become rich but his brother didn’t like that idea one bit which cause them to split up the neighbourhood in 2 parts creating the movement by his brother named “White King Spades” made to fight each other. The fighting got so bad that one of the brothers were murdered which caused complete gang war to break out and lots of shootings and murder would be the cause. By the time the late 90s hit there would be at least 23 deaths on both sides and the gang would only be getting started. The white spades movement slowly was turning corrupt due to lack of funding and would begin selling drugs which would cause warfare for who owned the drug dealers spots. This would slowly grow huge as they rack up allies and decide to fight as nations which caused the whole city to go to war.
After the year 2005 the movement totally stopped and turned into a business for trafficking guns and firearms. Marcus Davonte currently sits in a prison cell for the rest of his life due to being caught with murder and trafficking, the 2 gangs broke into little sets that run different parts of the state of New York which causes little wars around state but mostly in the city of New York. Thankfully the NYPD and NYSP stepped the game up implanting stop and frisk laws which caused lots of people to stop carrying firearms and shooting wherever possible. This does not stop gang war though. By 2010 at least 450 murders would have been due to the movement, puerto ricans would be importing such weapons that only the military should be able to get their hands on and this caused the black lords to back down and fade off due to mass amount of murders and cartels breaking apart. They would still be active in prisons though. The Black Spade Lords is currently extinct but the white kings still stands. These little sets cliqued up and called an alliance and have went from gang sets to little drug dealing groups, the only current set that lives today is the Rollin' 80's.
The Rollin 80s were created by Tyrone Washington. The set falls under the White Kings and also falls under the Grape Street Crips. Tyrone met Davontae in jail and he pretty much didn’t care about the previous beef anymore. he later joined the Black Spade Lords in Rikers Island. He was in there for assault, harrasment, evasion, and (3) simple assault. He was let out but told but davontae to keep the culture of gangs instead of selling drugs. He promised so and did so. He needed more help which caused him to go to up north in queens and talk to a grape crip friend about this. Both of them liked the idea and he agreed to help him. This would later suck the crips in to being allies and later would fall under a subset of them.
In the year of 2019 Rollin 80s involves them self and pretty much every crime. They still sell firearms and drugs but not as much as they used to due to the heavy police enforcement. They recently got busted in operation tidal strike, it caused a couple of the disciples to be sent to Jay Davidson Penitentiary. Rollin 80s Is minimally ran inside of prison but more or so focused outside by the northern Bronx apartments on the end of tremont. Sadly Tyrone passed and gave his position up to a disciple called “dice”. Ever then the faction has been selling drugs and firearms just like the 2010s, as the current year fades to 2020 this doesn’t look like an current stop as Rollin 80s rises to power. In fact it’s only the start.
The Rollin 80s are known for sporting purple clothing and blue clothing. They wear artifacts to the left and are found down around in the Bronx. You may find crip tattoos on their bodies and graffiti of grapes and purple spray paint around the area the reside by.
