What are factions?
Factions are located within Hidden Society's good and bad areas. You can find the legal factions normally being security, police departments and some media companies depending on what type they are. Illegal factions are normally the ones who are creating the most crimes within the city, being criminals from rogue government groups to being gang banger's within the streets of Bronx. They are usually found with weapons and high profiled members who have committed numerous amounts of crime within their area. They play a big part within the roleplaying communities anywhere as they will be found creating the biggest differences towards the other citizens or government officials. The illegal factions will normally hold a turf with their clothing and weapons inside for their "crew" or "members".
How can I join a faction?
There are many ways to join factions within Hidden Society. The biggest one is applications to enter the Police Department. There are many other ways like being jumped into a faction after meeting them in-character. You must work your way up through their ranks though. They only take really good and advanced roleplayers that can create screens. You cannot direct message anyone regarding joining their faction as it's counted as metagaming.

In order to create a faction it's best you develop it. To do so, you'll roleplay creating your unofficial faction and showing it off through screens. You must make sure it's realistic and only being realistic to not be lying in your character about the story unless it's had history before NYC. Do not go off topic, posting screens that don't relate to your faction at all. After a while of seeing you roleplay in-game and your screens with a good faction story, you'll be accepted as an official faction.

You also have to fill out a the application as a thread under your screens/information after waiting the weeks with screens. If you ask a faction manager about it then you'll be ghosted and noted to not give you one for another few weeks or never. You aren't allowed to have any ban history as a faction, nor have any strikes or valid reports. Turf weapons will be available after four weeks of being official. You can request for the items too.
What is the three strike rule?
The three strike rule is to ensure you are roleplaying correctly while being active and not breaking any rules anywhere. If you are caught breaking rules, you'll have three chances to change your ways until you get your faction archived. On the first strike, your faction gets suspended for a week and you are unable to roleplay as an official faction nor post any screens at all. On the second strike, your faction will be suspended for two weeks with your turf/items removed; if you have them of course. The final strike will be the removal of your faction.

Posting Rules
When posting a thread for your unofficial faction, you must make sure you meet all requirements and reading all of the rules beforehand. It'd be good if you are 13+ before attempting to create a faction as it can be involving around swearing, shootings and more. Do not make a thread if you've been banned once within your time as a member. Make sure that your story is created as if it were to be put on a wikipidia, showing extra information like where your territory is, what type of weapons you use showing good pictures with it too. After you've posted it, do not direct any faction management with the link as we check the forums on a regular. Anything that isn't neat or professional will be instantly deleted. Any trolls will be pbanned from Hidden Society too.
War Rules
All factions at one point will most likely beef other factions after they've humiliated them or done something to make them want to fight. To fight it out, they'll normally start beef. Beef can start whenever, being announced on the discord server faction announcements. If you have been beefing over a two week period, you're allowed to request for war. In war, both leaders have to agree. If a leader decides to leave the war then they'll loose all of their items, passing it over to the other faction and loosing their turf. The quitting factions turf will also be removed and they'll have to re-request for the turf and items. If you loose the war, then your faction gets completely archived. You'll loose everything that you've created after being archived. Faction leaders are free to recreate another faction after a few weeks but just not as the same character. Posting the same screens as your old ones will get your unofficial faction officially removed from the threads and you pblacklisted from making a faction. To win war, you must have a recording of murdering at least half of the factions members, including the leader. Killing the leader must be done uniquely, not just being running up to him and shooting him. IT CAN BE that if you roleplay before, showing the whole thing. You must roleplay having a camera on you, showing that in the video of the ck after editing it. The roleplay must be good too. If you win the war then you get the archived factions turf and items given to you, only to become more powerful.
Character Kills
Character kills means that your character has been officially killed, also meaning that you've got to change all of your clothes and forget the players that you know in-character, hopefully making new friends and a better life than the last one. In order to character kill someone, you must record a video posted to youtube of you murdering the player/s. If you want to CK yourself then you must direct message any faction management member on discord. Character killing yourself will get you out of trouble or out of the job if you just want to start a new life. You cannot do this unless you have a valid reason and develop it ic with a video. After being character killed, you cannot rejoin the illegal or legal faction that you were in until two days. After that, you're free to rejoin it roleplaying as a different character. This also goes for any businesses or Police Departments.
Gang Kills
Gang killing is the way you get someone out of a rival faction. This can be done to any legal or illegal faction members. You must murder the player with footage;via recordings. The recordings must show us the build up and then the murder with the getaway. This video should rack up to about four to five minutes long, showing your roleplaying skills off before murdering the player/s. After a rival faction member has officially gang killed another player in a faction, they cannot rejoin that faction at all. They must start a brand new life as if they've been character killed but they cannot have no connections to that faction at all. Not even being a hang-around. They must either start a new career for roleplaying, join a different faction or do something productive with their new character. If you are caught roleplaying with the faction like that after being gang killed, you will be banned along with your faction being archived. If you create an alt account and we find out you'll be banned and blacklisted from making a faction as well as being archived and the leader who accepted you banned too.
Player Kills
Player kills within Hidden Society are pretty different from some normal roleplaying games. If you want to player kill someone, you must record yourself putting them in critical condition twice in the same video. This video must show you roleplaying everything which should rack up at least a three minute footage of you murdering him. After that, they'll be officially announced dead and cannot rejoin the faction at all if they're in one. Anyone can be Player Killed. If you're a citizen or an unofficial faction or even a LEO, this is the way you kill the player permanently. Do not ask why your footage was declined if we say so.
Turfs, Weapons & Cosmetics

They'll have to request for a new one in that area or wait a while until the house gets rebuilt. You are allowed to request cosmetic items every week. You must have an owned turf to do so. You cannot request more than 1/1 unless it's in a bundle; outfits, bbq equipment ex.
